I am going to Las Vegas in mid February and I am looking to place some future bets on teams to win the World Series. I haven't seen a lot of odds actually published yet, but was hoping some of you guys could give me some of your potential future bets.
I personally would like to avoid the usuals, with lower odds, NYY, Bos RedSox, Phillies etc ... and was hoping to get some of your "over looked" or "sleeper" teams. Probably going to do one AL and one NL
Currently I am liking the Cincinnati Reds.

well palmer i don't know if this will help you but i'll throw in my 2 cents. I like the Angels over the Diamondbacks in the world series. Remember these are my opinions. I like the Pirates to win the central and the dodgers to win the wildcard. BOL to you palmer hang out with us in the baseball forum it's almost time to play ball

Pack that would be something to see the Pirates win something. I am pulling for them too.

I don't think I would even consider them a sleeper if they made the playoffs last year.
Not only that, if I am looking for sleepers in the NL West I am looking at the Dodgers. Mattingly had them playing well to close out the season and if I got decent odds on that team I would take it in a heartbeat.

Yeah i was shocked they won 94 games last year.
With that staff and lineup they are by far the best team in that division imo.
