Well, after nearly achieving my $10,000 goal on my "suicide run," I gave it all away. My last two posts were disasters. Mostly because I couldn't limit myself to just betting my very best bets. Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't handicap baseball.
I am disgraced. To end the regular season, I have what I will christen the Disgraceful Parlay. Double up on this one. These are the two best games on the board.
NYY @ Tampa Bay - 200
parlayed with...
Colorado @ San Francisco - 180.
risking $2,000 to win approximately $2,666.
The reasons for being on Tampa have been thoroughly discussed elsewhere on the Forum.
I love S.F. here, as the Rockies had cashed it in before their trip to Houston, losing two series in a row at home to San Francisco and San Diego, and not seeming to care. Todd Helton, Carlos Gonzales and Tulowitzki are out for the season, which has as much psychological impact as impact on offense. Colorado batted Houston all over the park, but Houston was fooling around with their pitching rotation.
Now it's Colorado who is experimenting again, putting Alex White on the mound. Check the Covers Matchup between these teams and take a look at White's WHIP, ERA, and last 3 starts.
'Nuff said.
Best of luck, whatever you decide to do.
