Wow. Didn't think I would have this many plays today, and probably won't again.
My two most confident plays are Milwaukee and Tampa Bay at home, playing against either inferior or indifferent opponents. Milwaukee needs to stay a game ahead of the D-Backs for home field. Home field has been huge for Milwaukee in the regular season, so they will play hard until they lock it. These two games are expensive, and I would suggest parlaying them together, or parlaying them with a less expensive game.
Pitt @ Mil - 195
NYY @ Tampa Bay -220
One step down in confidence, but I still like the following:
STL -135 @ HOU. St. Louis needs this win. Houston doesn't need anything, and they were experimenting with their rotation against the Rockies. W Rodriguez has not been good in his last few starts.
Philly @ Atlanta + 125. Philly has nothing to play for. They have the best record in the NL, and that won't change. Atlanta needs a win. Cliff Lee is a stud, but Atlanta counters with Delgado, who has great numbers. Don't expect to see a big offensive effort from Philadelphia.
Oakland @ Seattle + 115. These teams have taken turns sweeping each other at home since August. The pitching matchup is about a push, so I think Seattle wins as the home team.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.
