I've
been really cold in MLB over the last couple of days so going to be a
bit more selective for a little while. Didn't like any of the sides
today but really love this total. First of all, we have two teams that
are struggling at the plate right now. Rangers are averaging 3.5 rpg in
the last 4, while KC is even worse, at 1.25 rpg in the same time span
(yes, they've scored 5 runs total in 4 games). Second of all, we have
two pitchers on the mound that both offenses aren't very familiar with.
Ogando has pitched once this season (and consequently in his life-time)
against the Royals, holding them to 5 hits and 1 ER in 6 innings. He
had 5 K to 1 BB in that one. In his last 4 starts, Ogando has allowed 5
ER's on 19 hits in 24 innings pitched. He has a 23 K to 6 BB's ratio
in that span. I know his BABIP is very low and his LOB% is ridiculously
high (95%) but against a weak-hitting team like the Royals, I expect
the inevitable 'regression' to hold off just yet. Danny Duffy is
Royals' top pitching prospect making his MLB debut. The kid has great
stuff and had an FIP of 3.26 in the minors this year with a 10.75 K/9
ratio and .300 BABIP. His stuff is legit and I expect this Rangers
lineup to have trouble hitting him tonight. Both bullpens are rested
and everyone is available for this one, thus I don't expect an offensive
assault once the starters are done for the night. There is a chance of
rain at about 20% for the game with the wind blowing from right to left
at 10 mph.
UNDER is the play in this one.
Good luck!

GL Bodio, I read your thread everyday. What do you think of Toronto, I don't think I've ever seen you on the Jays. Hellickson coming off 120 pitches, don't think he's ever pitched that many and alot of the pitching stats you look at Litsch has better numbers as well TB bats are pretty cold right now.
