Everybody seems to be riding the Phillies domination streak over the Padres tonight. Am I the only one not convinced?
Blanton is off to a bad start this season, having given up 14 earned runs in 3 starts to the tune of a 7.27 ERA.
Buzz in the SD clubhouse is that the last few days of shutout hitting are not representative of the team because of a wave of viral illness that almost everyone was suffering from, but have now greatly recovered.
I won't dwell on the whole "trap" conspiracy theories, but SD -101 is a good price at home in this situation.
Maybe everybody else on this board will be right and I'll be wrong, but if I'm right, I will have to resist the temptation to come back and gloat. :)
