Definitely a long shot, but looks like pretty good value to me.  What do you guys think?

Its beted. I don’t think they've updated their futures because they currently have the team with the worst record in baseball as the 2nd favorite to win the WS.

You do realize that they are from Cleveland.  I'm from Ohio and a huge tribe fan.  We are just off to a hot start.  Don't over look it.  The way the organization works is, once players start to pretty good, they will ship him off somewhere else.  I'm surprised grady sizemore is still in the uniform.

Indians looked great winning 8 in a row here in April.  Will they even make the playoffs?  Very doubtful.  The 162 game season grinds a team down and exposes all weaknesses.  One thing you can be certain about, the Indians will not see another 8 game winning streak this season.

Do you honestly feel they can take an October series from the Yankees or Red Sox or Rangers?  And if they do, can they take a WS from the Phillies?  I'm a realist... NOT going to happen.

They arent going to change the red sox odds just cuz they are 2-9. Sox are still a world series fav and trust me im as anti boston as anyone

They just have to make the playoffs for the bet to be profitable.  Plenty of opportunities to hedge after that with such a large payout.

Stranger things have happened.

I took them a couple days ago at 75/1 to win the AL Pennant.

I see the odds are down to about 40/1 but it's still worth a shot & you can hedge if they make it that far.

Actually, they just did.

Also Cleveland went from +17000 to +12500

I don't follow the Indians, if you bet this because you feel that they are strong enough to win, then you got a great line.

You will have plenty of time to hedge this if you want to.

We are a couple of days away from May and I have the team with the best record in the AL at +17000 odds to win the WS. My God what terrible value that is.

To most people that’s not a lot.

To RickeM it’s the difference between whether or not he has to service strange men in public bathrooms just so he can eat that week. So it’s understandable that he would become upset at someone else using that money to bet on a long shot.
