Their pitching will still be there, and that was what got them this far.

I think the Rockies are early favorites to win the NL West next year, Giants second. Dbacks, Dodgers and Padres have very little chance.

Messier could be right. Im not hating but this is more of a playoff built team than a regular season one. You still need to do well in the regular season to get there and this team needed all 162 to get past the padres. Rockies are always tough as well.

This is such a pointless thing to say. It's baseball and only 4 teams make the playoffs. ANY WORLD SERIES WINNER CAN EASILY MISS THE PLAYOFFS THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

So saying the Giants won't make it really isn't going out on a limb.

but for this year and this last month theyre the BEST team in baseball. not lucky at all they outplayed every team in every series. anyone says anything different doesnt know baseball or is simply crying in theyre beer

Not hating......I actually like the Giants. I'm not a Yankee fan. Just stating my opinion. I think the Rockies win the division next year. Dodgers, Padres, and Dbacks could be tougher then people think as well.

I disagree. Their pitching is only getting better, hard to see that falling apart. Granted they need some more sticks or at least get rid of Pat Burrell, dude is brutal. TB sent that turd to the minors where he should be. Sure he started off alright when SF picked him up, however, he showed his true colors in the playoffs.

Next year is indeed next year, but Giants came out on TOP this year, thats all that MATTERS, althou we might not have all star players but those kids prove they had heart and they showed up everyday to play the best and beat the best, Thats Passion and love for the game!! so give them the prop they deserve instead of downing them for whats to come.

The Padres also beat a very different Giants team 9 out of 10 times in the first half of the season to build that lead.

After the Giants called up Buster Posey in late May and Bumgarner in June, they had the best record in the majors.

That young pitching staff will be around for a while and will keep them in it for the next several years.

Take a look at the Giants record after they called up Posey in May and Bumgarner in June.
