What do you do after bad days

Question

Curious as to what everyone else here does. I had a brutal, brutal Sunday (0-6 for probably minus 12-14 units or so, haven't added it up exactly after the bloodbath) that was only made slightly salvageable after some in-game betting on the Giants/Braves game went my way (grabbed UNDER 13 right after Wellemeyer left the game).

What do you guys do after a terrible day? Hop right back on the horse? Sit on the sidelines for a day or two? Play only one or two games the next week?

Bengal -- well put, I luckily am not in that situation. Started with $500 in the account, worked it up to $800 or so, back down to a little more than $590 after Sunday's debacle, so re-loading is unnecessary. Just don't want to do anything rash trying to cash so I figured I'd pick the board's collective brain.

you need to cut down to no more than 3 plays a day IMHO... taking a few days off always helps to clear the mind

Drink coffee and study everything i can find on games and bet smaller till i get a winning track going before i bet large again.

i just did it bang head off wall a few times and decide whether to take a day or two off or jump right back in.  as long as money is there jump back gl with your plays today

Start playing one game at a time. If win, go smaller the next game to get yourself back to comfort zone. Keep doing so for few days.

If lose the first game, shut it down for the day.

That is what I would do.

I would get laid.Get right back to it but only play 20 percent of normal wager.Please dont dig a deeper hole chasing.

Don&#x27;t over think your plays.  Sometimes when I get in a bad funk, I will lose my confidence and over analyze every play on the board.  Go with your gut on a few plays.

I usually take a few day off from sports all together. It helps me sleep better because im not thinking on what im going to take and for how much etc...Then ill start fresh going into a new series, in this case thurs or friday. good luck.

I had a brutal day Sunday too. 2-7 down 8 units.

I will play the Red Sox this afternoon for 3 units. If I win, I'll play a couple of night games. If the Red Sox lose, I'll take a couple days off.

Doesn&#x27;t matter how much you bet, just relax. It&#x27;s a marathon not a sprint. Follow someone on the forums if you aren&#x27;t hitting your plays lately. Either that or take a week off and refresh your mind, baseball isn&#x27;t going anywhere.

&#xD;&#xA;Agreed. The only feeling worse, for me, than a losing day is taking a day off and watching my leans win big.  That said to each his on.  If you take time off, don&#x27;t even look at the lines. it will just piss you off. My experience. GL kapono!

The only time I do things different is if I get in that mind set where I think I cant pick a winner,as long as I believe my picks dont suck I will just try to get it back over a few days,I do not believe in the one game to get even thing.But when Im feeling like that I will look to see whos on the game Im playing,play only a couple games a day,one at a time and play less money until I get out of that head funk.

Ive seen some of your plays and I dont know if Im right,but it seems like you have been off on totals,not sure as I have not seen them everyday this week,but if Im losing on 5 inning bets I lay off those,or whatever seems to be sucking the worse.We all know baseball is the biggest grind and as long as you stay your course you wont get killed.

GL today and I think the Red Sox at a glance is the play,Lester 0-3 L-3 games and hes a fav,why? And on the road,somethings wrong here.

2 weeks ago I deposited $400.. was up/down/up/down.. then Lost it all... so I reloaded with $500 last week.. now I got just over $2,000 in the account and I'm cashng out for $1,000 to pay off the CC I used to load up..
