Detroit is Awful....watch Porcello get shelled....do you guys know anything about Porcello and how bad Detroit's lineup is right now....then the fact all the crazy shit leyland has been saying in the media around here....this team is done....Detroit will be out of the race at the end of this week.

 Both guys pitch to contact and give up a ton of hits, but the runs are often not proportionate to the numbers. Both pitchers rely on sinkers thus inducing a lot of rally killing ground ball double plays. This total will be more dependent on chance than anything else. Do the grounders w/RISP make it thru the holes for runs ? Or do they end the inning 6-4-3 DP ? Good Luck on that one.

Getty I am pretty damn close to giving up on them.....the majority of the fans and people who know baseball around here are giving up....we have $100 million payroll....this is unacceptable....especially not getting anyone at the deadline (besides Johnny Peralta.) it tells the fans, Leyland and management is also giving up....they will throw in the towel in the next 7-10 days...watch

i know....just let people bet whatever they want to....no one cares about JIM TRESSEL thinking something is a square play.....this guy telling me Chicago is a square play is like the Tigers aquiring Johnny Peralta....I could Care Less hahaha

They are done and made the best move of all by not giving up Porcello or Oliver for some player that wont put them over the top this year.  They will have a ton of money next year with all the expiring dead beat contracts.  The injuries took their toll and made a move for Haren completely stupid if they had to give up Porcello and Oliver.  Either way, they had their hands tied this year once Mags went down.  I dont think the team will throw in the towel as much as they field a AAA lineup on some days with Damon, Mags, Inge, and Guillen injured, and they fill ins just arent that good.
