#1 Posted: 7/30/2010 1:45:00 PM As a NYY fan that watches this team on a regular basis I can tell you guys that Hughes hasn't looked right that past 2 weeks. He looks like he has dead arm right now and has lost 6 inches off his fastball. He will rebound but right now his stuff is not explosive like it was earlier in the year because he has to adjust at this level pitching this many innings . TB from an emotional standpoint couldn't be more fired up to show the Yanks who the best team in baseball is. The Yanks will be fortunate to get 1 game this series when CC takes the mound. The Trop should have a playoff feel this entire weekend. Rays haven't been hitting of late but look for them to do enough tonight to get a comfortable win. Rays ML +104 risk 5 units and -1.5 +190 risk 2.5 units. This year I am 5-2 on large plays. Have no idea why no one like TB? I thought the forum would be split on this game but the forum suprises me everyday.
O's +126
Fish +135
LAD +184
Cubs +121
All plays risk 2.5 I went 0-7 yesterday and -16.5 units. Still up around 50 something units. Will update later.

#10 Posted: 7/30/2010 3:01:19 PM All but the Dodgers are of great interest. They're not going to give you Los Angeles at that number if they had a chance. You know that. |

Thats correlation without causation. AKA - nothing.

I am on the Rays and Fish, myself.

There is nothing wrong with that line, it's spot on. The Freak at home vs a team he owns and not hitting. What do you think the line should be? If I made the line I would've opened them at -180 and felt it wouldn't have scared Giant backers the least. |

I like Masterson but it's really tough to take him because the team doesn't win when he pitches. Maybe I'm gun shy because every time I take him they lose. Seems like it's always a tough one run loss. I would prefer first 5 with them. |

#18 Posted: 7/30/2010 3:30:13 PM I really wanted to take the Nats and will be sick if they win because I love the angle of pitchers making their first start after a trade they lose for various reasons. Only reason I didn't take the ML and -1.5 is because I have been burned the past few weeks trying to go against teams on a streak. I think I finally learned my lesson. |

#19 Posted: 7/30/2010 3:34:48 PM Fish baby . I think I figured this team out somewhat after backing them yesterday.
I will ride TB with ya. Haven't really looked into that one.
I'm looking at the Halos too.

10 days ago he was +110 against this same team at Chavez Ravine. |

#23 Posted: 7/30/2010 5:04:08 PM I agree, that is no way too cap a game--and I don't. I was just throwing that trend out there to see how amazing it is. Think about it,35% of a teams losses are on Friday. Most series start on a Friday & Tampa's game-1 series record is not what you would think. Tampa may very well win tonight & this stupid trend will be meaningless, OR Tampa could loose & next Friday someone else will bring up that there 2-14 on Fridays & run with it. |
