First let me say that I got crushed on Saturday betting the Preakness & in baseball. I put way too much stock in the 4 legged animals. Horses nowadays are way too inconsistent. The days of thinking a triple crown winner looming in the midst are now longer around. With that said, on to baseball after taking 3 days off.
Yankees are 3 games behind the Rays
in the division & is that a suprise to anyone? The Rays are playing great ball & have won 4 straight coming into this game & the Yankees lost in a close game to the Red Sox in Yankke stadium 6-7 last night after have a 5-0 lead going into the 6th inning. Yankees have Burnett (4-1) on the mound & Rays have Davis (3-3). Last time these two teams met, they played a 3 game series which the Rays won the 1st game & the Yankees pounded them the next two. Davis was matched up against Sabathis last time Davis pitched vs the Yankees. This is the 1st game the Rays are playing on ESPN this season & should be excited to play. Rays have the best record on the road at 15-4
& the best record overall in baseball. The Yankees have the best record at home if you compare wins & losses. The Rays are +135 as of 5:30am & I will wait to see if the line goes up so I can grab a better line on the Rays because that is who my money will be on in this game. Im putting $1,000 on the Rays but will wait for better odds hopefully. I will update what odds I get it at.
