The Yanks wouldn't ..... sabotage?

Just a thought .... The Yanks wouldn't lose on purpose today for the sole purpose of bringing the WINNING game back to NY ... WOULD THEY??? 

Think of the party if the Yanks win it back in the Bronx in their brand spanking stadium.   Think of the extra tickets to be sold ... they extra beers, hot dogs, popcorn, and cokes.  I can see the merchandise flying off the shelves now when Jeter lifts the trophy.

Just a thought guys ... what are the chances ... my bookie Pinnie suggests so.  Come on .... -140 for a team down 3 to 1?  Of 41 teams that have been up 3 to1, 36 have won game 4.

I honestly believe that there bats will find away tonight. Cliff Lee's cockiness might have left a sour taste in the Yanks mouth.

Also New York and Philly #1 and #4 or 5 markets in TV respectively.  Plus Fox revenue also. I Read somewhere the special box seats in NYY stadium are like 1.5 K per game regular season.  Who knows what they would go for in a series as well as all the rest filled to capacity.

Yes definitely worth a thought.

They are losing on purpose tonight, that's why Posada and Melky are not in the lineup!

Think the Yankees dont want to give Philly any hope at all,when you have a team down you finish them,dont see them letting up at all,thats why AJ is pitching and you dont think they would love to beat LEE in Phillie.

sounds good in theory.  But if the Phils were to somehow win game 6 after being game 5, then game 7 anything can happen.  Arod just wants to win as do most of the players.  They could care less where, sure they would like it at home, but winning is all that matters.

 

This past year the Red Wings headed to game 6 in Pittsburgh with chance to clinch, they lost but knew they were home for game 7.  What happened? they lost on home ice.

just like the lakers were suppose to lose in game 5 to take the celebration back at home..

Melky is hurt.

You really think a team would risk losing a game in the WORLD SERIES just to bring it home and win? You really think they want to lose game 5 and bring it to 3-2 series with all the extra pressure it would bring?

 

Come on guys, this is Baseball and they want to WIN.

are you kidding me? do you know how hard is it to win a game in the mlb? do you think the yanks want the phils to win 3 in a row like they did in boston. they are hungry for a fuckin world series and they fuckin want it as soon a possible. put yourself in their shoes and youll realise that.

if you want a real good yankees throwing the game tonight theory....aj beans a few phillies early and gets tossed and look there is gaudin on the mound while everyone else rests up.
