I hit PHI +165 first 5 innings for 2 units. I also hit PHI +165 full game in the last leg of a two team parlay paying nearly 5 units. However, I have 5 units on NYY to win the series so I guess I am just freerolling that bet. If I was smart I would have waited to put the bet in but instead I bet it today. Oh well.
I am all over NYY tomorrow. They will not lose two in a row in Yankee Stadium. Just waiting on my locals line. BOL!

Pedro +190 is the favorite play of the day after Phillies trounced Yanks last night. Hard to see many betors willing to lay -200 or -220 on Burnett andYankees tonight. You will be the few on NYY tonight. Good luck!

I highly doubt that.

Fair enough guys. Here are my thoughts. Other than Pedro's last start he has been nothing special. He will be lucky to make it five innings. NYY have shown this whole year, but especially in the playoffs that they are a resilient bunch. If anything ever positive happens for the opposing team they usually respond back with excessive force. I could see a blowout today by the NYY. That is why I am taking the RL. If NYY win (notice I said IF because anything can happen in baseball) it will be by two runs or more.
Additionally, since I believe the above then the correlation bet would be over (hopefully 8.5 soon). BOL!

I agree. But vegas did that for a reason. I'm just waiting for my other 2 locals to open to finalize my plays. Bol
I kinda have my suspicions on why Vegas opened it up so high too. I believe than want everyone to see the fools gold of +180 or better, especially after what PHI did last night. That being said, the game does have to be played first.
By the way, I firmly believe that the world with be on NYY tonight so I have already factored that into my decision. BOL guys!

over 9 or hopefully it will go down to 8.5 as it is curently 9 u 120
Be careful with the yanks rl... it looks to good and I think vegas would love to see yanks backers think they can't lay -200 or more and have them run and take the RL Just my thoughts

Just saw this write up at another site. He did a great job so I will post it here. Like I said it isn't my write up but says what I have been trying to say but with more facts:
"Historically in World series play Home teams that are down 0-1 are
27-14 in game two. If they are coming off a loss of 5 or more runs they
are 7-3.
The Yankees have a nice pitching edge with AJ.Burnett tonight. They
have won 14 of his 18 home starts this year and he has a solid 3.38
home era. The Phillies are starting P.Martinez tonight. In his last
start he was masterful holding the Dodgers to just 2 hits over 7 strong
innings. Tonight he gets a much better line up,against a team he has
struggled against. Martinez only has one recent start against this
Yankee team a 5+ innings shelling as he allowed 6 runs last year. After
this game he will wish he was back at home under a mango tree. The
Yankees are 15-5 as home favorites of -175 to -200 while the Phillies
are 14-36 long term as an underdog in this range."
This person concluded that he was taking the NYY RL. BOL!

You still give zero reasons why the Yankees will win other than the classic "Yankees can't lose 2 in a row at home." argument.
All I was saying is that you came into a bunch of threads and were trying to convince people not to bet the phillies tonight or for the series but you gave no input as to why.
BOL with your play but I hope the Phillies sweep and can def see it happening

YEP THIS IS NO REASONS EITHER. I am done with you PHI homers I am seriously done. I will not be responding to any of your homer views or opening any of your homer posts. This forum is supposed to be about sports betting and exchanging information. So I exchange some and all you do is say nope not going to happen. Okay dip$hit then why not? What basis do you have. Seriously I cannot wait now for NYY to win you people annoy me to no end. I cannot even wish you BOL because you are clearly just a jacka$$.

Trends don't mean shit to me but if you like them than check out the one about the team who wins the first game in the series
Yes that is true. Game one winner has won the WS the last six years in a row. That being said dumb a$$ I have been talking about tonights game and not the series. In the one post I made about the series I said if you want to take PHI in the series (never said DONT) you should wait until NYY wins and that will inflate the line then take them. I am helping people get the best value.
