The Rox continue to play hard. If you look at the pitching matchup most would say Parra is the play because he is on a nice roll his last 10. If you look at those games though the reason for Parra's success has been the Brewers offense. Today they get shut out.

Four games into that homestand, their spirits were crushed and they quit. They've lost 13 of their last 19. The Brewers, meanwhile, haven't quit at all, going 11-8 over that same period of time. They gave the Rockies all they could handle in the series opener before finally losing in 11 innings, and last night, they fell victim to the chilling badness of Jeff Suppan.
Whereas the Texas bats have gone to sleep this week in Anaheim, the Brewers continue to slug like crazy, scoring 35 runs in their last 6 games. The Brewers aren't going to roll over for the Rockies today at Coors Field. I'll be on them at +165 or so.

I got a feeling the Rox win today though. They are still only 4 up on the Braves with the Dodgers coming up. The Dodgers have totally owned us recently and the Braves get the Nat's for four. This thing looks like it is over and the Rox are in but I bet you Tracy wants it done today! We do not want to go to LA and have to win a game.
I say he uses all the best pitchers again, Daley, Bettencourt and Street if it is close even though some have pitched recently. This is the one for the Rox, I do not know if they get it done. They are not overlooking this game though I guarantee that.
Look for Cook to throw some 85-90 pitches today on his second game back. I do not see them extending him over that number. The bullpen for The Rox will be heavily involved again, take it for what it is worth.
The weather here is cold! This used to be an under for me automatically but has burned me recently, once badly. The wind is blowing out (north) and it is blowing. This is an over! Joyce is behind the plate (under) but he has been tough on Cook going over in the starts he has called for Aaron. Too much contradictory info, I will pass the under and take the Rox against the Great Bator.

Texas's season was done 9/27 when TB scored 7 runs in the 8th and 9th innings to take a victory away from Texas who at the time was winning 5-0. Granted Texas gave it their all but their all just wasn't good enough. Since that game Texas has amounted 0,2, and 0 runs offensively. Granted Milwaukee's situation has been a little different and they've had good offensive output 5,5, and 6 runs in their last 3 games. Here's the Brewers problem - the double play ball. Or inning ending double play. I think today's game is a low scoring affair and wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Brewers shut out. GL
