Wow did i just find value....
 
CLE vs TOR is over/under 10.5
 
i am really liking over 10.5 and cant see why this will not have happened by the 5th inning...
 
CLE pitcher has been woeful and the TOR pitcher is a newbie who will be nervous..
 
In saying this the TOR pitcher apparently induces quite a few ground balls but if CLE read their scouting report they will know this and they will swing lower and underneath the ball...
 
There are two ways to clean up on this game....
 
1. bet the over - both pitchers will give up plenty of runs..
 
2. Take Toronto to win - while the CLE pitcher is bad the Tor pitcher may have some game... Also the CLE bull pen are aweful and TOR will have last nights throw away on their minds !

Yeah, thought I read somewhere that Cecil had an ERA close to 9 in the minors this year...why was he promoted? Is the pitching that bad?

he'll do better then the cle pitcher and i guess the Jays feel it is a good time to throw him in the deep end....
 
Who knows - even if he pitches half ok i think the CLE pitcher gets pulled after 3 innings and 6 runs.... Should be Sweet !

Cecil, the 38th overall pick in the 2007 draft, takes the place of injured rookie Ricky Romero in the rotation. The 22-year-old left-hander struggled at Triple-A Las Vegas, going 0-3 with an 8.31 ERA, but won't let that overshadow this opportunity.

Cecil for toronto is having his first start...and is a highly touted prospect....do you give any value to batters seeing a pitcher for the first time???
 
its early in season and reyes era is due to one bad outing- and he already bet toronto this season...

i was thinking the same thing? but who knows. houston over yesterday i thought it was too easy so i never played it. this one seems too easy. should i lay or stay. who knows

I agree, but I'd wait for the lineups before making the bet! Random Wednesday afternoon games may lead to a few key players being benched (seen this happen before when I was leaning over on a midweek day game at Skydome)

points all taken... first time or not you see a pitcher, if hes not hot then they will hit him... CLE can bat...Cant pitch but can bat...
 
I dont give the CLE pitcher any respect.. looking at his last few games although not all current and last weeks results, he still throws alot of balls, doesnt strike out much and gets hit... = OVER...
 
I think this score may be something like TOR 12 CLE 6
 
I Really can see a massive hitting game...
 
Still need to check out weather etc etc but its would have to be very bad to swing my thoughts....

Dont worry about weather its in a dome, I live 2 hours from the dome and its beauty here

Funny - totally forgot about the dome part.. hahaha.
 
Well does the dome have any leaks ??? these questions need to be asked !
 
My book has over 10.5 @ 1.94 which is very good and usually indicates that it will drop to 10 shortly... depends on action as well.

I'd really be wary about following a guy who thought you should check the weather before a game in a dome!!!

im pretty sure they will have the roof open...and if that is the case, then u need to watch how the win swirls.

 

Given that right now there is no wind outside, but i expect it to pick up a little in the afternoon, considering that Rogers Centre is right on the water.  If we have wind blowing off the water then it will be blowing roughly out to left field.  Which means balls will carry out to left, but as the wind swirls inside it might be pushing balls back that are hit out to right.  Think of it as a toilet with the water flushed to the left first then swinging around to the right.

 

If the wind doesn't pick up then this is all nonsense, but the ball wont carry as much when the roof is open than closed.
