I'm 22 and goin to vegas in a few weeks for my first ever trip out there. Was wondering where the best place to bet at would be and to watch the games at. I bet around $50-$100 a game in baseball and just wanted some help on where to go. I hear Ceasars is great. anywhere else. Also off topic where is best place to play craps as I love shooting dice.
Thanks

Hey guys,

Caesars is cool but there is no where to sit. When i went they said the seats are reserved for the high bettors. I could be wrong but thats what they told me. Bellagio is also nice but i don't like the setup with the tv's. They are all higher on the wall so when i sat there it hurt my neck. The mgm was my favorite. Lots of comft seats and the setup is great. Just my opinions.

All replys above are nice but none compare to mine......
I usually bet at the Palms due to value but by far and away the most comfortable and entertaining sportsbook is Jay-Z's old 40/40 club turned into sportsbook. It is located at the Pallazo which is the new expansion to Venetian Hotel.
If anybody dares to contest this then I will take all on this is the only sportsbook I could see myself in for the rest of my life
GL with whatever you choose
The superbook at the Hilton (not flamingo but Hilton) is where most prohandicappers play

Best place to bet is the Hilton-has better odds than other places also away from strip Red Rock Casino brand new has a killer sports book---pretty huge....But on the strip is the expensive casinos MGM, Palazzo go where the money is!

Best Sportsbook? Hilton blows all others away based on size and number of people who are there to watch the games. Pretty amazing to see. MGM is a little tight on seating, but decent. Ceasars is probably the second largest and has open seating. I alos thought Mandalay Bay has a very solid Sportsbook, but on the complete other end of the strip from where you are. Leroys at Riveria was just completely redone, small, but nice and just over a block or two from Hilton.
BUT, the Best Sportsbook is where ever you can get the best line on the game you are wanting to bet on. So remember, when searching for a good line MGM casinos will all have the same line and Harrahs casinos will all have the same line so make sure you know what those casinos are so you don't waste time searching for the best line. If you have access to the web you can check www.vegasinsider.com for lines at different casinos.
Craps. . . if you play pass line with full odds then Stratosphere allows 10x odds, which is pretty good. Some people say places like Casino Royale and Slots of Fun offer 100x odds, but when I was there in December I checked their tables and didn't see any table offering more than 3x odds. Also try off the strip at Station Casinos as they usually offer decent odds. Also try Downtown as they will usually offer higher odds as well.
Good Luck!! I always shed a tear on the plane home. You won't want to leave.

dont go to the pallazo unless you're only interested in watching one game. I always have a good time at excalibur. The book is nothing special, but the drinks come fast and the crowd is young. Stay away from the stratosphere and hooters. every other book is good enough.

Me and my GF stayed there a couple years ago when we had this "free" package deal from a friend of hers that couldn't use it.... Wow! Place is a dump! And Sports Book??? What Sports Book? I was looking for it and I just barely found it...it was like a closed in the back with nobody in it and all the lines handwritten on an eraser-board. LMAO!
I always like the MGM Grand...I have not checked out Bellagio or that old Jay-Z place the "40/40 Club" like others mentioned, but, it sounds like I need to check those out too. The MGM Grand though for me is very nice, great TV setup, very modern, and all the employees have been very professional and well-versed.
HAVE FUN!!!
