A very sad day for baseball and for 1970's pop culture. Harry Kalas was an absolutely icon in baseball broadcasting. As a child, I had the Philly station on cable and loved listening to his calls. From all accounts he was a great person off the field also. Then Mark Fidrych died in a what looks like a freaky accident. He was possible the funniest character ever to play MLB. Then receiving a lot less attention, Marilyn Chambers died at the age of 56. You old times know Marilyn Chambers. Sad day.
May all three rest in peace!
My thanks to Pinnacle yesterday for outstanding insight into Zack Greinke. I decided to stay away from the Indians and took the UNDER instead, thereby turning a losing play into a winning one. Helping one another is what Covers is all about.
