the dodgers bats should be glad to get out of the graveyard of petco. i dont think judy garland is going to win many games this year, he was the benefit of some run support last year with an era pushing 5. arizona looks like their offense hasnt changed much from last year, have a big game and then disappear scoring just 2 runs in the last 2 games against rockies pitching. mcdonald looked good in his brief stint last year pitching 5 shutout innings in the nlcs, this is a good spot for him to make his first start. dodgers 6 arizona 4
RED SOX/ANGELS OVER 9 -105 1.5 UNITS
anaheim has been a house of horrors for wakefield with a career era around 7 there, weavers 2 starts against boston resulted in 12 and 13 runs last year. angels 6 red sox 5
DETROIT TIGERS -135 1.5 UNITS
this is a big pitching mismatch. galaraga is very good pitcher and held texas to 3 runs in his start against them last year. i love the texas offense but that wasnt exactly good pitching they just faced, lee held to his spring form, pavano is pavano, and i guess only time will tell if fausto will be back to his old self. detroits bats should get going against benson. detroit 7 texas 4
