Combo of both, but to be fair, I am sure the Fish hitters know exactly what to expect from Olsen so they have a big heads up on him.

A little bit of both.  The Marlins can absolutely rake.  Lots of power on that squad.

Ah come on man...I agree with some of what he said. I didn't read the entire thread but I know what it's about. I don't think the Marlins would be this year's Tampa Bay Rays. If they were to make the playoffs, thats exactly what they would be compared to if they made it even to the playoffs with these young kids. To think they'll outbeat the Mets, Phillies or even the Braves may be too much to ask for. These are the Nats their playing, only time will tell how good they really are but I'm impressed thus far.

Both games have come vs National lefthanded starters.  It's very early but I'm going to start paying attention to the Marlins vs lefthanded pitching.

For him to give me one of these and tell me the Marlins have absolutely no shot makes him #1 In the wrong and #2 Makes me think they have an even better shot now since everything I see him post is usually wrong. Sure they have a tough road ahead but they are way too talented to be counted out. This team won 84 games last year with a combined 28 starts from two very good young pitchers in Johnson and Volstad. Sanchez and Miller are also very talented and they only started a combined 30 games while battling injuries. Nolasco 32. So out of 162 games, their current 5 man rotation which is finally healthy and I believe is much better than last year, started just 90 of them and this team still ended up with an 84-77 record. They have only gotten better and they will surprise a lot of people this year.

In ST, Bobby Cox was quoted as saying they have the deepest quality rotation in the majors.  I'll trust his judgment on that one, and with that lineup down there, they could really make some noise this season.

Its really hard to argue that. I like the Yanks better right now but the Marlins are definitely near the top of my list.

the fish bats will be streaky all year.  The biggest if though is if bonaficio can get on base than they will be tough to beat all year.

Nats pitchers are throwing softballs, and just don't seem to be mixing it up as well.  They are constantly getting behind hitters in the count and having to serve up pitches on a silver platter.  Marlins are teeing off, but there's also been a few balls that look like pop ups that just get carried out of there.

Also, Bonafacio has been playing like a man possessed. The Nats can't seem to get him out before he crosses home plate

OK this is starting to piss me off. You score 8 runs in 3 innings and now they don't score a single run the next 4????? Unreal.
