i would think if i was a Habs fan I would rather see philly win tongiht because I think they have a fighting chance against Philly, if Washington wins not only will Buttman party like its 1999 but I would also think the Rangers would be thrilled to play the Habs instead of Pittsburgh, nothing personal Habs fan but I think the Rags would beat you guys with ease. just looking for some habs fans thoughts

To be honest... Philly would be easier for the Habs than Rangers but for those who think it would be a ''Walk in the Park'' for the Rangers against the Habs... sorry to say that but I doubt its true. It's the same Rangers team that were leading 5-0!!! YES 5-0!!! in MONTREAL and got beat 6-5!!! It was the first time in franchise history. Don't try to say they were not playing well blablabla... Rangers got fucked big time think Habs were an easy prey.
Therefore, I am not saying it would be an easy series Habs versus Rangers but whoever Habs face I think it will be a thrilling series I doubt we see a sweep in the next rounds.

A of people down on the Habs after a tough series. In my opinion, thats a mistake. Boston is a solid team. If the Habs play the Rangers I think they win fairly easily. If they play the Flyers, I think they're in some trouble.

I'd rather play the Flyers. They play no defence. Habs can light it up vs the Flyers, rather than a scary Rangers group with the best goalie in the NHL.

I actually picked the Rangers to win the cup. But heart always lays with the hometown Habs. I was downtown for game 6 before I went to the UFC, Habs didn't win but at least georges st pierre won
lastnight i was watchin the game at the gf's place rockin the Andrei Kositisyn t-shirt, while she was rockin the Price shirt. I'm glad I wasn't downtown to get caught in the riots right on St catherine. As a montrealer, we love our hockey but the damn hooligans had to ruin a good time

Flyers would probably be an easier matchup for the Habs since they'd have only 1 day of rest, whereas the Rangers have been resting for awhile. Goaltending definitely favors the Habs in that matchup.
Oh, and btw, Rangers and Habs goaltending in the playoffs is pretty even.

So let me get this straight, you just beat the Bruins in SEVEN but now your gonna beat sweep the flyers and beat the Rangers in 5. I obviously want the Rangers to win and think they will. But at least I'm realistic. It will be a hard fought series either way. Lay off the crack.
