Men,

 

Not to crazy about the CAPs tonight. CAPS have been story book with these comebacks. If the flyers come out with a 2-0 lead early, the game will be a wrap. Game 7 is a def. atmosphere.  

 

I see the Flyers dominating this game.  No way Ovechiken goanna score 2 goals in this game, he will be lucky if he scores 1 goal. Flyers have done a great job shutting down his offense (CAPS offense).

 

You are going to see strong play from the Flyers goalie and at least 2 PP goals from the Flyers.

 

My prediction:

i know when my team is dead, and they are dead.. No effort, losing their legs, tired and playing out of the system that got them winning.. this game i really think will get ugly if washington gets up 1-0 early

Plus Biron is absolutley TERRIBLE on back to back games.

how are the flyers dead?  . . .These kind of comebacks do not happen all the time! . . .What happned to BOS last night?  . .  .No COMEBACKS

why the doubt in Ovechkin? He's the best player in the NHL and he wants this win bad. I love watching his post games. I wish everyone was this passionate about the game. He's not the only reason but just bet Washington and you'll be ok.

After last night Ovechkin has the confidence back.  Look for him to make a difference once again tonight.

Ovechkin has been shutdown up until game 6s' 3rd period . .  .the only goal he had was the GW in game 1 .  .

Your comparing Boston to the Caps and Ovie. Are you dumb. The Caps actually look good. The Bruins got lucky by winning a couple games then getting involved in that Game 6 shootout and luckily winning. Huet's settled down this series and Washington gets home ice> And how can you count out Ovechkin. Philly may be "shutting" him down, but guys like Backstrom, Semin, Federov have picked up a bit of the slack. It'll be a close game....Caps come out on top

Look at the previous games:

 

The Flyers have dominated in the 1st and second!

 

Game 1

Flyers are inning 4- 2 going into the 3rd

3, 3rd period goals by the Capitals

 

Game 2

Flyers 2-0 in the 1st period and NEVER look back

 

Game 3

Capitals Dominated once again in the first 2 periods

Flyers 4_2

End of game score FLYERS 6-3

 

 

If you want to call my play a “foolish” one go ahead.

 

I state my opinions!

 

You want to hear something foolish???

 

“Ovechkin going to win this game for the CAPS”

Caps win tonight.  The phone booth will be rockin' tonight and the team will play off the emotion of the crowd early.  Caps get early goal, but philly will counter.  This will be a tight 2-2 game going into the 3rd again, when the Caps pull out the 5-3 win.  Philly had their chance to close it out last night and we saw how they closed out the game....giving up 4 goals.  The Caps have it going and they've become DC's sweethearts ever since February.  Nobody in DC cared about hockey before then.  Now Hockeymania has spread all the way to Baltimore, which is anything but a hockey city.  Caps win tonight and it's going to be a great game.  Get your mouthguard ready.

Backstrom and Semin have stepped up big time with Philly only focusing on Ovechkin.  The key to this game isn't how many goals or shots Ovechkin gets, but how many shots Semin gets.  He is just a good of a shooter and has a wicked quick wristshot.  If I was Philly I would be more concerned about Semin.

All we can go by is his B2B record so I would say yes.  In fact he has very little expierence in the playoffs.  Another in fact, this is his first playoff expierence !!!! 

Lots of pressure on a first time playoff goaltender and someone that doesn't do well on B2B's.

I was on the Caps before the puck dropped.  I took them at -150 for the series.  You say the Flyers shut down Ovechikin, but they didn't when it counted most.  Closing out the series at home.  That's something to think about.

No way! Look at Price last night. Playing in Montréal, one of hockey’s biggest stages. Price stood on his head! If pressure every played a factor it would play a factor in Prices game last night. Did it play a factor? NO

 

These 3rd period comebacks by the CAPS will come to an end tonight!
