Lucky post at the end held my puck line bet.  ( the smaller bet).   Rask is solid.  Very technically correct and lightning quick.  Rask got the hawks to go for 1/2 inch shots instead of getting them on net more.   Game should have been 5-2.   Bs blew some, Crawford good.  Rask better.

Looks sharp...Im wondering why the Hawks settle for the bad angle shots that are somewhere in the single digits to find the net. Pity losing Hoss but I was figuring Chicago would be getting some traffic but no....let's try and settle for skill..something Pittsburgh couldn't do. I put this on the coach with an awful game-plan....good job B's. Hey Quenville can we get more than one person in front of the net? And have them in a shooting position? Jedi mind $hiz ain't gonna work....

Rask had been waiting patiently here behind Thomas as we know. Here in Mass we didn't want to see Thomas pull his disappearing into the woods act, but a lot of us were quietly confident in Rask. I remember when he was drafted, he was being compared to Roy in style. Whenever I heard that I couldn't wait to get a look at him. He was brought up through the system the right way as well. Wasn't rushed like Raycroft was. He's been hungry for this, especially after seeing Thomas give the best goalie playoff performance in a while. Now we get to see what Tuuka knew he could do. I believed he was good, but this post season is ridiculous. And if you watch him, he always ses to be on the proper angle, stopping at lot of shots with minimum movement.

Kid is absolutely in the zone. Basically stole game 2 in the first period and shows no sign of slowing down.

Those in Boston know the saying...

I believe his numbers are a bit better than Thomas's. I think Thomas got yanked in a game maybe 2 during their Cup run and Rask got some time (foggy memory). Thomas would make the out of this world save since he was flopping more and out of position more than Tuukka but Timmy's run was indeed amazing. That save with the shaft of the stick in the 1-0 Tampa game was one of the craziest things I have ever seen.

Are you going to actually listen to me this time and try to shoot off net and re-direct and run Rask a couple of times to get him off his game, or are you going to do the same again by watching him make save after save as your PP goes opher again. 

I am going to say the latter.

HOW much do the Blackhawks miss a "big body" that can bang home rebounds like Dustin Byfuglien in 2010? suprised they haven't had Bickell parked in front of Rask esp on PP .
