great game but gotta say Boston was the better team, much better defensively and many more great chances to score. bostob great at keeping the speedy chicago forwards to the outside and always have 4 skaters back.
chicago got the bounces tonight, both their third and fourth goals off of lucky deflections from the point.
Had no stake in this game or series at this point, but gonna lay a little on boston to win, or hopefully get a good alternative line at +1.5 or +2.5 games.

Chicago def did not play to their potential, still erased a 3-1 deficit and outshot the Bruins, I think that speaks volumes as to where this series is headed. Majority of the Bruins chances were as a result of Chicago not respecting them and pinching with their D on just about every offensive zone position, which led to odd man rushes...I predict a solid Chicago win in regulation game 2.

Whats funny is deflections are part of the game and Boston had a goal deflected in.I thought early in the game all the bounces went Bostons way and hten they evened out

Chicago had more shots, but alot of those were weak shots from the outside.
There is no doubt thay boston had more "chances" and better quality shots.
what i like about the hawks is the great play of crawford. very sharp in the overtime and gave the hawks a chance to win with his great play. what i dont like about the hawks is they seem to "gamble" alot defensively, only having 2 guys back with the forward skating back vigourously to catch the play and get the stick in the way of the puck. this is in contrast to boston who always have 4 skaters back and the forwards are in mich better defensive position on a consistent basis. the forwards get back, yet they still get plenty of scoring opportunities. as the series continues, we may see boston start to wear down, as injuries to campbell and possibly horton hurt bostons depth. every game should be tight and should be a six or seven gamer
