All the peeps banging on the Rangers for not scoring against the B's and now ya know whyits not all just one teams fault. Bruins just shut down the highest scoring team in the playoffs and Rask looked as good if not better than he has in the previous two series. So don't just say it was a lack of Ranger's scoring, give Tuukka and the Bruins their due. Their aggressive fore check and fast/physical play is a force to be reckoned with. So to the Pens and whoever they get in the cup, I say good luck.

People that can't open up to James Dutchie, those can not be saved.
If that goofball Brian Lawton, criminally ignorant, Mark Spector and NHL banned Doug MacLean can work for sportsnet. I'm sure Torts would be welcomed with open arms.

I think you are trying to justify your teams loss...what was disappointing about the Rangers was not the fact that they almost got swept, but how it happened, there was no chemistry to their game and a lot of times you could sense a lack of effort, just a dysfunctional team this season that was carried by their goalie. If it wasnt for an even more dysfunctional team in the Caps that they faced in the 1st round, they probably would have never made the 2nd round.
You take 1 game in a series, pretty bad sample size...what about the Leafs who came back and took these Bruins to 7 games, it took a miracle comeback for them to escape that series.
I have nothing against your Rangers, but they weren't a good team this year, and that's why Torts was fired.

The fact he got fired surprised many, so don't act like you knew what was going to happen and come at me AFTER the fact. I hear where your coming from Hawks fan. Actually I'm not making any excuses for the Rangers but am actually giving more credit to the Bruins. Yes we did Under perform, however I don't think that is all on Torts, he was let go mainly because the way he rubbed some of the Players with pull on the team(King) the wrong way.

Rat, If your boys don't score 4 goals in the 3rd(not saying that they can't) you might want some of that dope I'm smokin. This B's team made me a believer and I'm sure they are opening your eyes too...So far. It's a long series but dropping the 1st 2 at home as the number 1 seed is going to make things very difficult.
