This NY Stranger team is so pathetic in every sense of the word that it's disgusting. I said prior to the postseason beginning that they had no offense to speak of and that point was put on display for all to see in the opening period of today's game. Every break in the book was handed to them in the first twenty minutes of action and they failed to take advantage of their numerous powerplay opportunities. Brad Richards has to rank as one of the most overrated players in the NHL and Rick Nash is nothing more than another Eric Lindros, which doesn't equate to a whole heck of a lot. Lets hope for the sake of the NHL playoffs and the viewers alike that this team is sent packing today. This is the one team that definitely shouldn't have been allowed to play more than forty-eight games this year because they're simply not good enough nor are they deserving to be playing at this point in the season. They're boring as hell to watch and they have no business being here period. They are the ugly duckling of this year's postseason and the most gratifying aspect of the first round will be when the Strangers are eliminated. We can only hope it's today!!!!
