I locked in pens and hawks, while staying away from B's and Rangers games.  Hopefully I chose right lol.

Who knows. The way this season has gone the favs may well sweep the board. Public huge fave consensus plays have been killing it this season.

quick has'nt impressed , so far this season,  kings last year were never a good regulation team...hawks have something to prove this afternoon, and quite simply , i beliveve they want to prove they are a better team then these kings....jmoo

I like the other side in all four but have only played Buffalo and LA so far.

I got hosed yesterday so bad it had mw questioning how I cap games. It evens out over a season, public pounders will not hit all year.

this is not fact. The largest concencus fave on covers concencus page has  lost 12 of 16 games SU and had lost 11 straight from Feb 2 to Feb 12!

Another dog dead day. I have never seen anything like this. Public faves continue to rule the day. I know it has put me in an early hole this season. Soon we shall be seeing more -200 type lines if this continues.

Of course its always nice to hit a fat line... But you really just have to roll with the team that matches up the best.

The players don't know and don't care. Which teams people on Covers pick doesn't have any impact on the outcome of games. Maybe the cappers who are winning are smart enough to adjust to what is going on in the NHL instead of continuing to lose money every single day just so they can say they are Sharp and fading the public. Some people are so busy trying to be "Sharp" they forget gambling is about winning money. People have been making these same posts for weeks. Why not start betting the favorites until either they get priced too high or they stop winning every night? Doesn't that make more sense than betting the Jets all the time and wondering why you keep losing?

It's a shortened season...Probably teams won't be caught off-guard or take a game lightly as in normal season ...

Exactly... For me personally I don't care who's a favorite or not. I'll pick the team that I think is in the best position to win on any given day... Of course you try and hit some nice value and make some smart dog plays but theres a total difference.

I won't lay insane juice or anything. But these lines have been more than fair and very profitable thus far... Just pick the better team

woke up this morning, just had that feelin....put in these 4 team for a parlay of 800....pay out of  5k plus.....

I guess every point is certainly at a premium and at least for the time being...teams are able to mostly stay away from being flat for b2b games or against "weak" opponents.

I wonder...however...with the rigors of this schedule going forward by the time we get into March and April...we see the fatigue setting in and some let up for teams in comfortable playoff position.

Crazy...I  have been starting to lean toward plays on the favs on the regulation line rather than going after the dog money. One of these days...however...it would seem a lot of people will lose a lot of money. It looked like today may have been primed for that but no...heavy faves roll on.
