Most of you have seen my name already all over praising my Devils.
Question for everyone here.... if the Devils win Game 1, do people start to feel a little differently, because I think alot of people believe the Kings CANT lose on the road.

Question for everyone here.... if the Devils win Game 1, do people start to feel a little differently, because I think alot of people believe the Kings CANT lose on the road.
to me it's not that they can't lose on the road, it's just that they have played so damn good on the road. Which means they got a really good shot at taking both in Jersey, and I for sure won't be feeling differently if they do lose the first game, because i'm sure they would win the second game. But if they lose the first 2 then I push the panic button

I am surprised so many people are putting NJ out of the running already and proclaimed LA to be the champions already. Bunch of BS if you ask me.
Both teams are solid, and yes one team statistically speaking jumps off the paper. However this is the stanley cup where anything and everything can happen. It may sound "Bold" but im fully expecting NJ to make this interesting and take game 1 at home.
Call me crazy or optimistic, but I have more then enough faith in the devils.

In my honest opinion i think it will they will split in Jersey than we can make opinions form there. If the Devils won both games I would be pretty surprised. If the Devils lose both than I will be panicking lol

I think a 7 game series is a definite possibility for this series.......New Jersey is the first team the Kings will face that doesn't have passengers on the team or have players that "lose their cool" and become detrimental to the team.....
Vancouver was with Kesler (playing through a torn shoulder labrum) and went 3 games without D. Sedin, so really Van's top 2 lines were operating at 60% capacity.....New Jersey is the first team LA is facing that has "game breaker" type players such as Kovalchuk and Parise -- neither of which is injured such as Van's game breakers were, so I think we can expect the closest series either team has experienced this playoffs....
I think it will come down to Brown-Kopitar's physicality vs. Kovalchuk-Parise's speed....Either way it's going to be an exciting Finals!!! (Other side battles will be Drew Doughty vs. Bryce Salvador(?!) and each team's PK....NJ dominated the regular season whereas LA is dominating the playoffs.....Who will gain momentum in the Finals?)

agree. Kings have looked MUCH better on the road than @ Staples these playoffs. IF they were to go down 0-2 @ New Jersey, you would probably be looking at a Devils re-run of 1995.
