Devils fan analysis

    First off I must say wow I love all the avatars of the kings pictures all of a sudden. Like to have scene that on there post 3 years ago. Now they are going to say they have been die hard fans for 20 years. That is like saying a fat lady who weighed 350 still weighing the same amount telling us she didnt eat any junk food and was exercising everyday the last last 2 years. 
Anyway Congrats though Kings had a great playoffs and deserve to be here. 80 percent of the vote has them beating the Devils.
I am reading allot of Kings fan having them winning this in 4 or 5 games. So now they already have the trophy in the their hand already and the Devils are a big underdog that is fine thats the way I like it, So i want to congratulate my team on a great year and being a great franchise. Winning a 4th cup would be enormous for the teams history and Marty already in the hall of fame just cements
it even more.
   Can I blame the public not really, you figure we have a old goalie 
give up to many leads and the Kings overall just seem better.
   There goalie is younger better faster Kings score more goals give up less goals yada yada. Do I think the Kings are the better team
I think they are overall better yes but not overwhelming better. 
 But remember the Devils are there for a reason they know how to win against the odds always have been for years not one year. The Rangers are not the best team but they were a rival and we are little brother in the media at all times and a smaller fan base so it makes it tougher to win sometimes. We have been to 5 Stanly Cups now which is remarkable for a small market team. We draft well dont  overpay players for the most part and when players leave to other teams for more money they drop of existence. WE play total team Hockey and everyone buys into the system.
I will admit this is not our best team to go to the finals but i am still proud of them. 
 As a Giants fan to see a Super Bowl and a Stanly Cup in the same year is really amazingly  good year to be a sports fan.
Would I be surprised to see the kings win, not at all no one will. But if the Devils win than peoples draws will drop.
  Do i think we have a chance of winning of course will it be easy of course not would I be surprised if they lost nope.
  Do we have allot of the cinques in the armor you bet but when you go to war than that will happen. From what i see Kings have no cingues of faults good for them. 
  Maybe some advantages for us though are home ice. Not a ton but it does help. I know the Kings are unbeaten away. Still i will take it. Experience a ton of that, and shockingly we are scoring goals at a very good rate. Maybe Marty still has some tricks up his sleeve and we can steal a game or two. 
 Not betting any games in this series as a fan I would rather
just enjoy the games without the stress of money involved also.
We dont need Hollywood behind us we just need a hard working middle class fans and Mr Stanly at the end.
Remember they play for a reason the better team doesnt always win its the team that plays the better series. We have scene this time after time.

Kings took care of the Canucks, Blues and Yotes without really even breaking a sweat as their 12-2 record would contest. Can't see any reason why anything will change against the Devils. They are by far the biggest team that NJ has faced so far and definately with the hardest forecheck. They are fresh and hungry and will win it in 6 games maximum.

Huge Devils fan as well, and beyond being a homer I see the Devils winning. More depth imo, and a new style the kings havent seen. Kings havent seen a 4 line attack in the playoffs, nor have the faced the forecheck the devils bring. another thing to look at is how the devils adjust in a series. In the florida series, i have a feeling there was something that made it easier for Florida because of already being farmiliar with Deboer's style. Devils down 3-2 rally for 2. Devils lose the first against the flyers and win the next 4. Devils down 2-1 against the Rangers, in which both losses were shutouts for Hank and people were saying can the devils score on him? They win the next 3 and did not have a problem scoring in all 3 games.

Dont just look at Deboer, but the X factor on the bench is Larry Robinson. adam Oates is also great.

Marty is old, washed up, not great anymore..... but just beat Hank in a series. anyone who expects Martin Brodeur to not show up in this series is nuts. He wants that 4th to tie Roy.

This series really shows why the NHL playoffs are exciting. #6 vs #8. Should be exciting and not very easy for both teams. Knowing my Devils and stanley cup history.... the trophy will be given to a team Game 7 in jersey.....

The Devils are here because the lowly Panthers chocked in the first round;

They beat the Flyers because they had ZERO goaltending;

They beat the Rangers because they were exhausted and couldn't get their top players to score.

L.A. WILL win the CUP in 4 or 5.
