I got Kings to win it at +450 but thinking about some inusrance

Question

I&#x27;m figuring that if NJ wins the cup it would probably be in 7 games, and I&#x27;m thinking about placing alittle bit on them to do that at &#x2B;600 which will have alot more value then the regular line which might be at &#x2B;120. I&#x27;m sure the Kings will do it but anything can happen... it&#x27;s just hard to see NJ winning it in anything but 7 games. Does this seem like a smart insurance bet?

I would wait it out a little while. The Kings have lost two games in the playoffs. Anything can happen but they have knocked out the top three seeds in the western conference.

...&#xD;&#xA;kings have been road warriors in the playoffs, and a real good highway team all season in fact, solid when traveling east...&#xD;&#xA;jersey has the rep as a stellar defensive team and yet with a tougher travel schedule by far LA allowed 30 fewer goals...&#xD;&#xA;just my two cents but you&#x27;ve got a solid shot at a real nice payday and we&#x27;re all over-insured...&#xD;&#xA;BOL

Everyone saying not to hedge must be saying they would take the Kings at -170 in the Finals if they had to choose.

I'm not telling you whether or not to hedge, but if you had no bet and you were looking at a Kings -170 Devils +160 series line, which way would you lean at the current price?

If you think the Kings have value at -170, then hold onto it. If you think the Devils have value at +160 then hedge. That simple.
