The odds are around -150 for them to win the cup and I figure that I should probably wait for the Cup Finals series bet, which will probably be against the Rangers and I assume it would be better value against them. If they play NJ it would be around -190 but I'm hoping it wouldn't be worse then -120 against NY.... any thoughts?

the east will have home ice, and i know the line was very high against phoenix, with home ice, but different arenas get different lines, and i could assue you there is a big difference between glendale and msg

hmm, maybe your right about not much of a differnece between NY/NJ, then the bookies would be ripping everyone off with the line right now at -150 for LA. I'll just play it safe for now and wait untill the cup final is all sorted out to place more on LA. I already got them at +450 to win the cup but that greed is kicking in and I want more

Of course I hope that the Kings get the sweep today and I hope NJ/NYR goes to a 7th game... I have a parlay that I made when LA was up 1-0 in games on Phoenix... Kings to Sweep +438 and NYR to win in 7 games +430... Pays about 27.5 to 1 and if LA does sweep then I can think of some hedge situations with the ECFinals series should that situation occur. That's why I wanted NJ to win yesterday... I need a long series... We all seem to want or need something.

Hold off on that wager  Devils will rebound with a win Monday night. The East final is far from over.

If NJ-NYR seris goes to sixth or seventh imo LA will be favorite, if NYR ends this in five they are. Further NYR series goes less time they get to rest for that long travelling requiring match up. When they play every other day they will be spending a lot of time in plane after fourth match...

What did u see that makes u think t the rangers are not gonna be in the finals. The game they barely lost against the devils , was after a brutal stretch of games where any team in the playoffs would of beat the rangers that nite they were simply out of gas and the devils were in a must win situation..Just like the Flyers series the Devils caught a team who basicly shot there load. After 2 days rest they go into Meadowlands with there. home ice full of Ranger fans  and take the Devils best shot , and beat them..  With the Kings obvisouly it benefits them to sweep and Rangers to go 7 ,But underdogs do win in NHL  LOOK at the 8th seeded Kings..

Line was -150 vs PHX

The line is a joke. Probably ends up lower depending how the East Series finishes.

#8 seed on the Road being a -150 in the final, NHL has really hit a low point.  Absolute garbage.

Jordan Staal has as many goals as all these scrubs still left playing.

Can get Kings -120 now....

one more loss or two and they might be dogs in the final.

No.

It's -120 because the series line vs Phoenix went from -5000 to -1700 after game 4. They went from having the series wrapped up to almost having the series wrapped up. That and that alone is why it dropped. The expected cup line has not changed.

___________

That's what happens when you play 8-7 playoff games.  There is a reason Philly and Pitt. are playing golf right now.

If he played against the Pens in a series he'd get lit up.
