Typical liberal NY media blowing things out of context. Listen to the interview and you clearly see he was joking. He chuckles as he says it and praises their shot blocking in the proceeding sentences.

Marty actually played pretty well last game. The 2nd goal was a little weak and really broke the Devils back.

The King was truly the King and if he plays like that...only Jonathan Quick can beat the Rags.

I have been saying this all along.  When these guys go down to block a shot, the Devils should aim for the face a few times.  They got like 40 shots blocked.  Worth sacrificing a few to make them think twice about going down next time.  Right in the mouth!!!

if somebody gets hit in a bad spot with a puck by accident, thats the breaks... but to intentionally try to hit somebody in the head or mouth with a puck is just stupid no matter what team tries to do it
