Question

You have 2 great game 7&#x27;s tonight and I cant see either of them in Los Angeles. How can these games not be on network TV? Every other league has these games on the most basic cable. You dont even need a cable box to watch playoff games of other leagues. I dont get this 200 something channel on some NBC satellite network. Its sad but NHL is inaccessible to people that aren&#x27;t diehard fans. I dont always watch NHL, but I have wanted to see the last couple rangers games (especially tonight obviously) and I can&#x27;t. Its hard to attract the casual fan when they do things like this.

If you lived in Canada....we would say the same thing, just "sadly this is why NBA, MLB are not on the same level as NHL"....blah blah....regardless, surprised game 7's aren't televised, maybe you should opt up and buy a decent cable package?

I agree and I REALLY can&#x27;t figure out WHY they will "join the Devils @ Panthers in progress" instead of having one game on either NHL network OR CNBC &#xD;&#xA;IF you cable company is anything like my DISH-TV, you need their 4th level of service (America&#x27;s top 250) to even GET the NBC Sports channel (former Versus)

FYI - I just checked for the first time and the NJD/FLA game will be shown in FULL beginning at scheduled time on the NHL Network.

The OTT/NYR game is scheduled as normal for NBCSports (use to be VS)... I see no problem.

Each sports league has it's TV contract deals and even some teams have thier own which do not please everybody. Just ask any Flyers fan who has DirecTV.

Don&#x27;t kid yourself, if there&#x27;s enough demand for it, they&#x27;ll air the games some way somehow.  We have 33 million people and 32 million watching, so they have no choice

I wish that NBC Sports would steal THAT from ESPN.

NHL is a regional sport in the US.It does great when the home team is playing, and in a few other markets.But I can pay 4 more bucks a month with my TWC and I get NBC Sports, NHLN and about 40 other sports channels.

Sadly this is why NHL is not on the level of the NFL, NBA, and MLB....
