THOUGHTS
I think this series isn't going to be as easy for the Rangers as some might think. Granted I think the Rangers should win but I can see Ottawa maybe winning a game or two here. Rangers at time this season have been sketchy in my opinion and I could see the Senators possibly giving the Rangers a fight. Goaltending advantage definitely goes to Rangers here. Although Senators average more goals per game you can chalk that up to their conference being a lot more wide open then the Rangers. Rangers are tough defensively and sometimes can score a ton of goals. Games should typically be low scoring for the most part but I could also see a couple of these games being high scoring. Rangers win in 6 and should probably face the Devils in the 2nd round.

Ottawa will have a better chance against NY than they would have against Boston. But Lundqvist is way better than Anderson and this shouldn't go past 6. I like the Rangers in 5.

Sorry, but I really think your HAWKS are going to get stoned by Smith. Phoenix can score and play solid D too.  PHX in 6.

Quenville pulled the goalie in a tied 3rd period today because he didn't want to finish 6th and face PHX! Think about that.

If they wanted to lose today, why did they take a 2-0 lead?

no he pulled the goalie because it was a regulation win for chicago or nothing, hence the extra man to generate a better scoring chance.

Exactly. Quenville pulled the goalie to try and win in regulation to secure the 5th seed. If winning the 5th seed meant nothing, they wouldn't have pulled the goalie in a tied game.

Capitals +158 - Under 5.5

THOUGHTS
At times this season the Bruins have looked so dominating, on the other hand there have been times where they look like absolute garbage. However the Capitals have basically looked like garbage all season long in my opinion. Bruins are a playoff team. Capitals are not. Even in their best years the Capitals always struggle in the playoffs. Bruins goaltending has been shakey and it sure would be nice to get Rask back soon. However like I said Bruins are a playoff team. Look for the Bruins to flex their muscles and show the Capitals whats up in the first round. I know the Caps have had the Bruins number this season winning 3 out of 4 games but I don't see that happening in this series. Thomas will get his groove back and Bruins should take care of business against a Capitals team that has way too much talent that never produces any results.

agree with you on the rangers hook but I think they ll do it in 5. As for the capitals-bruins series, both teams have been unstable but theres a chance for an upset imo

I don't get how two weeks ago nobody was talking aboit the Coyotes and now all the sudden the Hawks are screwed supposedly becaue they gotta play Phoenix. Don't see it happening plus Toews is back soon.

The hawks went 10-2-2 in March in what was a tough schedule, besides 2 games where they came out with no energy, they dominated the rest of their games...all of that without their best player toews. Coyotes dont have a chance...
