the Blackhawks were going to be one of my plays for Tuesday against Columbus  but, I am having second thoughts as the idea of this being a trap game is creeping into my head.  Chicago will be playing Vancouver at home the next night and I can't help but think that they will look past the game against the bluejackets in favor of the matchup the next night vs one of their main rivals. the 9 wins out of 10 that Chicago has over Columbus in their last 10 meetings seems to be secondary in my mind to the fact that they will be playing Vancouver the next night. is this game one to stay away from?in addition Vancouver just lost to Minnesota 2-0 and are 3-5-2 in their last 10. Vancouver does have the most road wins in the west with 22.
thoughts?
sounds like one to stay away as I finish typing this. I might just stick with my other play as Nashville looks like a safer bet

At this time of year points are points, the Nucks game is no more important than Columbus tomorrow, the Hawks haven't clinched anything yet, lose a few in a row and they'll find themselves in 9th place real quick.

I hope so because despite my points above this is a game that I would really like to play tomorrow night. Rick Nash looks as though he has given up on playing hard for the bluejackets. your view that points are points this time of year and is well taken and makes sense. I probably would have stayed away from this game if I didn't read your post.

Columbus is a funny team, at times they actually look like an NHL team.  The BlackHawks on the other hand have had their share of let down games this year so i'm on the fence about this one.  I imagine with Vancouver being on deck for the Blackhawks they will start Emery and i have little confidence in him so i'm going to wait and see who starts tonight and go from there.
