I would do it for minimum wage!

if don cherry becomes coach of the leafs he will have to wear a bright blue blazer with white pants and white dots on the blazer.......

The Leafs need a good couple months of Iron Mike Keenan's tough love.......then Carlyle can start off fresh next year.  Of course, this is all contingent on the Leafs not firing Brian Burke.

The fact that Burke and Carlyle won a cup together in Anaheim and the fact that Burke knows another team will snatch up Carlyle if the Leafs don't makes the move seem likely to me ... Then again, it is Brian Burke and he may just stick with "his guy" because "he doesn't listen to anyone!  I would love to see Dallas Eakins but I think with the baby Leafs doing well and possibly having a chance to win the Calder Cup Eakins might stay put.  Eakins will be a head coach very soon though!  Anyway, one would think I actually like the LEAFS; I don't, I am just getting the conversation going!
