Flyers 1st period Under

What I do is look for 1st periods that should go over and then I ask myself will it really go over and does the juice for the over make any sense.

So here we have 2 1pm games... one has a -121 for the over, the other has a -118 1 for the under.

The reason for the juice for the over is because flyers can score and ottawa sucks in the minds of bettors.  Its an early game, I think its 1-0 for flyers.

The reason for the under is because Boston is defensive team and have Thomas in net.  Great.  I believe this goes over.  1-1

All I ask is for a good shot at the under with a good price.  If it beats me fine.

Funny how first periods can reach -140's just because its a Calgary vs NJ game or a Kings vs Wild game....and then they end up being 2-2 or 3-2 after 1 period.

Yesterday I was on the Chicago vs Colorado under. it was one of the few that had some juice on the over.

Only 1 goal.

Then I bet under 3rd period, because the juice was -160 for the over.

Only 1 goal.

so why didnt you bet the 2nd period under? same juice as the 3rd

Why didn't I bet the 2nd period under?

It doesn't work that way, every intermission is a full game total, therefore I was wrong in saying that I bet the 3rd period. I should have said full game at the 2nd intermission. Sorry for confusion
