STILL can't believe that 2nd period last night in Ottawa. afuter the 1st period I wouldn't have given a nickle for the over making. here's a few for Saturday....
@ Redwings -1 1/2 +175 vs Kings. (POD) RW's don't bone too many games and after they do, they usually bounce back pretty strong. Kings can't score for beans their last 10, RW's can "fill the net" when they get it going esp @ "The Joe"
Sabres +135 @ Penguins. looks like the D injuries finally caught up with my Pennies last night in Ottawa and they are 1-3 this season on B2B's. Flower has allowed 3 goals or more in 8 of his last 9 starts AND had to play the 3rd period last night in Ottawa. Sabres "no great shakes" lately BUT I think they have the better D & G.
Oilers +180 @ Sharks. (the "Big Dog") Oilers won their last in San Hoser Dec 17th and the Sharks have been VERY inconsistant this season. they had to do a 3rd period "lazarus" their last against the Avalanche. hpefully the Oilers "Young Guns" get it going tonight.
Canucks @ Maple Leafs OVER 5 1/2 -130. Canucks gotta be ready to KILL something after their last two @ Columbus and Carolina. I don't trust either Luongo and esp Gustavvson to keep it out the net. hate laying -$$$ BUT I think this "makes" by the end of the 2nd peroid
Oilers @ Sharks OVER 5 1/2 +105. 5 of the last 6 matches have gone over a 5 1/2 and both teams can score when they get it going.
Islanders @ Wild OVER 5 1/2 +130. counting more on the Isl's loose D & G in this one to make the over. they can score when they get it going BUT can't keep it out their own net.
Capitals @ Avalanche OVER 5 1/2 -110. before their last @ Winnipeg, the Caps had 4 in a row of overs and the last two Ava's vs the Hosersharks FLEW over. both can score when they get it going BUT usually can't keep it out their own net.

OOPS!!! make that ONE puckline fav. was considering the Wild -1 1/2 +210 vs the Islanders BUT backed off because of NO Mikko Koivu, Latendresse and Pierre-Marc Bouchard questionable. also, the Wild tend to play one goal games

looks like I picked the WRONG night to go against my Pennies. they came out PISSED, got the 1st goal and then scored on the BEST PP I have seen from them in a MONTH.

5-1 Penguins. James Neal with the 5th and his 18th of the season. I'm gonna lose $$$ on this BUT as a Pennies FAN, it's good to see. this is their BEST game in a month. NOT because of the SCORE as much as because of their ENERGY LEVEL.
IF they can keep playing like this in future games, they will be hard to beat.

Deryk Engelland makes it 6-1 end of the 2nd. you KNOW things are going good for the Pens when "Big D" is scoring goals
gonna lose $$$ on the bet BUT as a FAN I'm hope the Pens can keep this level of play going down the road. the "Wilkes-Barre Kids" getting theirs too. Simon Despres with a goal. Carl Sneep with an assist and Alexandre Picard with two.NEEDED these kids to "step up" with the injuries.
