Penguins injury problems just getting worse

HNiC between periods of the Habs @ Devils they said NO Jordan Staal tonight @ Islanders. that's added to Sidney Crosby, Kris Letang, Zbynek Michalek, Richard Park and rookie D-man Robert Bortuzzo although they DO get D-man (and physical presence) Deryk Engelland back in.

looking at the game, I think the bet is the Islanders +115. looking at Fleury (probable) vs Montoya (confirmed) right now, I would take Montoya because "Flower" has allowed at least 3 GA's in 6 of his last 7 and the Pennies hven't been giving him much goal support. the Islanders have filled the net in some recent games when they get it going, my Pennies haven't.

I was going to ask you your advice on this game and I think you answered it. These teams don&#x27;t like each other, and still wonder if the Pens put that little incentive. Fleury has owned the Isles in his career. Interesting stat. The past two consecutive Saturdays, both Isles and Rangers have won. Thinking of that again. Find the Pens totals have been tricky lately, and even with these teams, looking at the over 5.5 cautiously.

This is the time to get the injuries out of the way. Yes they suck but better now then April. This Pens team can still win short term with these injuries.Hopefully not long term

If it were any other team, these injuries probably would have decimated their roster, but it's the Pens. They are used to this by now. Which team could have had the season they did after losing Crosby, Malkin, and Staal? More injuries? Yeah, what else is new in Pittsburgh?

FLYERS are in trouble without PRONGER. They need him to go deep.   BRUINS will be tough for sure. With Crosby and Malkin healthy they have a good shot vs the Bruins.

As long as Crosby and Malkin are healthy, the Pens will always be a Cup contender. Pens will make a few moves by the trading deadline to bolster that lineup and make a serious run.

Well Isles killed off that 5 minute major by the looks of it....Isles being down only 1 goal going into 3rd is about best case scenario!

Jets are tricky......I hit with them twice this week -- ML against Boston and PL against Canes last night........Wings are a pretty damn good team though right now making good teams look like minced meat!
