Buffalo Sabres -165

this is a big mismatch here. I usually try to avoid lines this big but these two teams are really heading in oppposite directions. Enroth is in goal for buffalo and he brings with him an 8-3 record while the less experienced Montoya in in net for the Islanders with a 3-2 record. Buffalo is statistically better in 6 of the 7 power categories lacking in only penalty minutes. The Islanders have also lost 4 out of 5 games and come in with a disasterous 1-5 road record. was going to take the puckline but dont want to sweat out a power play goal in the final minutes.

Washington Captials -140

The blues are starting to turn their season around but they are going to be runnning into a stumbling block tonight with the caps. The Caps have been a disappointment this year but a new regime may be exactly what this team needs. They get to go home where they are 8-2 and find that each power category rises on home ice. The Blues have been up and down both on the road and at home but have shown to falter on the road offensively. Vokoun sits at 10-5 in the net for washington while Halak brings a 3-7 record tonight.

Florida Panthers -105

both of these teams are coming into this game with mini losing streaks. with that said, florida brings a team that is statically better in offense, defense, power play, penalty kill and goaltending than their counterpart, the canes. Theodore is back in net for the panthers who is 9-4 with a 2.37 goals against average while the resilient Cam Ward is net for the canes but has struggled with a 8-10 record and a 3.10 goals against average. I tried to find some reasons to take the canes tonight but could not find anything. Florida is the superior team here.
