Yesterday: 5-3 +3.71 Units YTD Regular Picks: 8-3 +7.76 Units
YTD Parlays: 0-2 -1.5 Units
Good evening/morning puckers! I wish I had been able to get that reverse regulation line on the preds! Either way, Chicago hurt me pretty good, but still turned a profit on the day.
Funny how your strongest play can turn around so quick. Oh well, I have a motive for betting the units I do on each play, and so far this year, it's been okay! Still too early to cheer!
Anyways, onto Saturday!
I have about 9-11 plays today, so I'm going to categorize them...
Pucklines:
Pittsburgh Penguins -1.5 (+288) vs. Calgary Flames -- Risking 1 Unit to win 2.88 Units
Detroit Redwings -1.5 (+201) vs. Colorado Avalanche -- Risking 1 Unit to win 2.01 Units
New York Islanders -1.5 (+248) vs. Florida Panthers -- Risking 1 Unit to win 2.48 Units
Washington Capitals -1.5 (+174) vs. Carolina Hurricanes -- Risking 3 Units to win 5.22 Units
Philadelphia Flyers -1.5 (+288) vs. New Jersey Devils -- Risking 2 Units to win 5.76 Units
Regulation:
San Jose Sharks -0.5 (-114) vs. Phoenix Coyotes -- Risking 2.28 Units to win 2 Units
Boston Bruins -0.5 (+102) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning -- Risking 1 Unit to win 1.02 Units
Toronto Maple Leafs -0.5 (+100) vs. Ottawa Senators -- Risking 3 Units to win 3 Units
Moneyline:
Nashville Predators ML (+106) vs. Ottawa Senators -- Risking 3 Units to win 3.18 Units
Parlay for the day:
This could not be more of a longshot, but for whatever reason, I'm very confident. Toronto Maple Leafs (-166) & Boston Bruins (-159) & Philadelphia Flyers -1.5 (+288) & Washington Capitals -1.5 (+174) & Nashville (+106) & Detroit -1.5 (+201) -- Risking 0.25 Units to win 42.75 Units
I am aware this is so unlikely to hit, but I honestly feel it would more than once every 171 days, so in the long run, I think this parlay may be profitable haha! It's honestly just for fun!
So, parlay excluded, Risking a total of 17.28 Units (thank God my units are microscopic!) to win a potential 27.55 Units.
Like I said, I plan to make about 500 plays this season. Honestly, this first Hockey Night in Canada has what I feel to be too many broken lines. I can't see a way I don't profit tomorrow, but alas it's a lot easier to say that than it is to review my plays tomorrow night and see the harsh truth!
Good luck to everyone, sorry about the lack of write-ups, I just got too excited. I will try to reduce my picks next week, and give valid reasons for all!
