Im trying to figure out why Toronto is -160 fav tonight. To my me this line is really high, specially when everyone saying there overated and there start was a fluke and florida has owned the leafs lately, so why are they a -160 fav.
my thinking is vegas wants you to go with florida with the great line, but for me it would be to good to be true, ill go with the leafs here at a high price.
toronto -160 $200

lmao at the vegas argument. if uve gambled more than one year, junior then you should know the leafs are always always overpriced. they were favorites last year in atlanta i remember and the thrashers were at home and 15 pts ahead in the schedule. yea they lost that first meeting too.
how about when they hosted the islanders this year and were -180. was that supposed to be a trap too?! haha
"vegas" only cares about splitting action and leafs fans are some of the most blind homers ever and they all bet with their heart!
Agree with most of what you say, minus the slight bashing of another poster. The reason the line is high, would be due to the back-up in net. Nothing more, nothing less. These teams are pretty evenly matched IMO. Question is, do you think the back-uo stands on his head or not...

Toronto and Montreal lines are always juiced. More people bet on them. That's a pretty significant reason. This is why I never bet on Toronto or Montreal. However I do feel as though the leafs will hold.
