U guys see what a total collapse by the Wings.  That was fukkin UGLY.  I cant believe what i just saw.

It was a choke. Not to take anything away from the Yotes, but you just gotta hold on to a two goal lead with less than 2 minutes left

Holy Wil E Coyote!!!

I changed to another game when the RW's went up 4-2. this sure ain't the Detroit of the last two seasons. they REALLY need Homer and The Mule back BAD

Homer and Mule wont keep goals out of their net....its a mindset problem and goaltending....going up two goals they relaxed

They blew a 3-1 lead vs the Wild. Pulled out a shootout win.

They were up 2-0 vs the Kings on Saturday. Lost 3-2.

They were up 4-2 tonight and end up losing 5-4.

If they ever miss the playoffs by 1 point (maybe to the Wild) this might be why.

I said to VASKO after the 2 games they lost to ST. LOUIS overseas that I was very concerned about the goaltending. 

When you don't have a goalie to keep a fucking lead. Also that goalie can't keep you in a game to go to the Shootout your fucked. Or even win you a stop pucks in the shootout for a win.

This is a fucking joke right now. 

HOWARD is NOT the Short term or LONG FUCKING TERM answer
KENNY HOLLAND. SO GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS and get a fucking goalie so you can make the playoffs. 

Up 4  fucking 2 and you give up that lead with less then 4 minutes remaining I shut the tv off after they were up 2 goals thinking they can't give up the lead again. WTF. 

Last 6 fucking games they were up and lost a lot of pts cause this bullshit. 

And OSGOOD should stfu and stop crying cause he sat a month. WORRY about stopping the puck jackass.

No way you can pin this on their goaltending.  The defence went to sleep like they have the last few games.  I got lucky when they collapsed vs the Wild, but not tonight.  Howard made good saves, it was the team in front of him that let him down.  Time for some new blood in hockeytown.

They lost previous games cause of goaltending. 

Vs the HAWKS HOWARD didn't make 1 save in the shootout. Hawks goalie made 1 save for the Shootout win.
Wings outshot them 38 - 29 

Next game Jan. 19, 2010 @ Washington 
They were tied and with 8 minutes left or so Rafalski put them ahead. Caps go on the PP and score a fluke goal over Howards head then 35 seconds later CAPS take a 3 - 2 lead. Wings outshoot the CAPS 46 - 23.  The 2nd goal came on the 18th shot after the Caps haven't had a shot in OVER 7 minutes and your telling me its not GOALTENDING. 

I can go on the last 4 games but I am too pissed right now.

That part in RED should have been tying goal for the KINGS game. OZZIE played the CAPS.

The Wings lost because of a fluke goal.  Jovanoski's goal was a fluke goal.  Unfortunately, fluke goals are fairly common in hockey.  Blowing leads can be contagious as we all know.  Reminds me of betting on the Atlanta Braves.

Honestly I was pretty impressed we even made it that far that year. You need to realize that Detroit isn't the same team it was then and if you dont realize soon its gonna cost you a lot of money
