tough loss tonight. we all know what the real problems are with our team and its not eli. its this overrated black hole of a defense who cant make a stop when it counts. That and receivers that have butter fingers. they have a good receiving core but there young and will be better next year. they definitely need to overhaul the defense for sure.

November 11-10 (+0.17); 4-4 sides (+0.09), 7-5 totals (+1.08), 0-1 puck line (-1) December 11-5 (+14.81); 3-4 sides (-0.37); 4-0 totals (+4.00); 4-1 overtime (+11.18)
Columbus - Nashville goes to overtime +301 - Rematch of last Thursday's 4:3 Nashville shootout win. I made this same pick then. Columbus has gone to overtime in 3 of their last 8 games. Nashville has gone to overtime 6 times in their last 13 games. 4 of the last 6 meetings have gone to overtime including the last 3 meetings. Both meetings this year have needed a shootout to decide the winner.
Boston -0.5 +113 - Boston is averaging 3.80 goals for and 2.60 goals against in their last 5 while Philadelphia is averaging 2 goals for and 3.80 goals against. Despite falling short in overtime to the Islanders, Boston is playing sound hockey. The same cannot be said for Philadelphia who has 2 wins in their last 12 games. All 10 losses have been in regulation. Looking back, Philadelphia has gone to overtime only once in their last 23 games. Considering the statistics, a Boston win in regulation looks the likely winner.
Phoenix +166 - Winners in 6 of their last 7, the only loss being in a shootout to the hot Kings, the Coyotes will face a tough test in Detroit. Bryzgalov is in a nice groove allowing 1, 2, 0, 2, 1, 2, 2, and 2 goals in his last 8 starts. Detroit has scrapped out back to back wins in overtime behind strong defensive effort. However this is a team who has won only 2 of their last 8 home games. Phoenix has lost their last 6 trips to Detroit, but the last 4 have all been 1 goal victories for Detroit. The Red Wings were -300 in each of these matchups. The Coyotes are a feisty bunch and these odds are out of line.
Detroit – Phoenix goes to overtime +305 - Detroit has gone to overtime in 4 of their last 8 games. Phoenix hasn't lost in regulation in their last 7 games. Phoenix has gone to overtime in 3 of their last 5 road games. I expect a close, low scoring game as mentioned above. The last 2 meetings have gone to overtime.
Detroit - Phoenix under 5.5 -131 - Bryzgalov is in a nice groove allowing 1, 2, 0, 2, 1, 2, 2, and 2 goals in his last 8 starts. Phoenix is averaging 2.20 goals for and 1.20 goals against in their last 5. Detroit has similar numbers averaging 2.40 goals for and 1.80 goals against. Both teams are a combined 36 for 38 on the penalty kill in their last 5 games. Detroit has gone under 5.5 goals in their last 8 home games and 11 of their last 12 home games. The under looks strong.
Good luck people

CJAD'S HABS AUTHORITY MURRAY WILSON PREDICTS: MARKOV RETURNING TO THE LINEUP AS SOON AS MONDAY CJAD's Habs Insider Murray Wilson says Andrei Markov could be in the lineup Monday. The Canadiens had already confirmed Markov sees the doctor Monday, but Coach Jacques Martin has refused to speculate on just how early the allstar defense could return to action. Christmas would certainly come early for the Canadiens if Markov is back next week at all. Initial estimates of a return date pointed to February 1st after Markov was hurt in a freak accident by Carey Price on the opening night of regular season in Toronto.
