Havn't pulled the triger yet but my leans are:

Am most worried about LITH and USA line.
 
Lithuania are the play at -7.5 but the loss yesterday bothers me, don't think i would take them at -10 against the host. Out of the top teams to qualify they've let in the most points, exactly the same amount as China who was in the stronger group.
 
USA line a bit high and am starting to lean on AUS. The BOOMERS have played them tight before and the only way for them is to get physical from the start. I do wonder how the refs will call this game as i've seen a lean from them towards the US.
 
Croatia i think will give Spain a run for their money and if Popovich was playing i would look for a straight up W from them as they match up well and think are more hungry than Spain. this game will be close.
 
Greece are just a better team all around. Argentina has no bench where as the Greek bench is strong. let's not forget though that Argentina knocked Greece out of the 2004 Olympics and think Greece has not forgot that. Don't think the line is right for this game. I look for Greece to win by 12 to 16 points.
 
Just my thoughts and havn't made anything final yet.

agree with your take on lith/china an usa/aussies.
 
i see spain more talented and cohesive than croatia. they have been coasting a bit but i think will crank it up a notch in this round. you raise my only concern and that is hunger/motivation. i am banking on that to increase as the stakes have. i think croatia overachieved a bit and spain the opposite.
 
to me, argentina is the best team, outside the usa in the olympics. they play together and have a number of players that can change the game if they get hot. great chemistry and proven champs. i also think they could give the usa fits. really annoying bunch on the floor. thats getting ahead though...greece does have a very good backcourt but not as much talent 1-5.

hhhmmm Greece/Argentina almost a PK for you and i have -/+4.5. Almost a reverse of day 3 germany/china game if you remember you had Germany at +4 or +4.5 and i had PK with Germany being Fave & you had Germany as dogs. I feel Greece is the better team but obviously rankings/record put Greece as faves.
 
 
Concentrating on womens atm so i'll have my picks for mens later.

I had germany as faves that time, you had them as dogs and they lost to China who was a fave on your book but dog on mine. Greece could be the play. I dunno if it's even signifiant here but thought i'd mention it

your book leaned to germany but china covered. now, your book is leaning greece so that would make arg the play if you were basing it on that strategy. i don't put much wieght in that though.

no my book has arg as faves so greece would be the play if i were to use the strategy but your right i shouldn't read into it too much but thought it may be worth bringing up. prob nothing.
