I think the only bad match-up is Kobe vs. whoever 1 on 1. But the Celtics don't play D that way, which is going to be bad for Kobe and the Lakers. Pierce will get his against Kobe. Kobe is a great on-the-ball defender, but Pierce will post him up all day long and Kobe is not great playing post-up defense.
Perkins will be on Pau which is bad for Gasol because he is as soft as a marshmallow. Perkins will beat him up and all you will see is Pau crying like a baby just like you did vs. SAS.
Garnett will be on Odom. That should be a tough match-up for both with the edge going to Garnett because of his outside shooting, defense and rebounding.
Allen is on a roll and is a definite advantage over the Radmonivich/Sasha V. combo.
Rondo vs. Fisher is a wash. Fisher will not give Rondo as many problems as people may think. Fisher only shoots jumpers and he will be on his heels against Rondo.
Lakers bench: Walton is pure garbage. If his last name wasn't Walton, he wouldn't be in the NBA. Farmar is crap on the road. Sasha's best defense is flopping. Turiaf is the only solid bench player. Who else you got worth mentioning?
Celtics bench: They all contribute solid defense and just enough offense to be effective. They are more experienced and Doc seems to be pulling the right strings with his subs.....except when Cassell is in there. But I don't think LA's defense will give E.T. as much problems as Detroit did.

Pau did not have a great series against the tough physical defense of the SAS. Playing agaist the Celtics and Perkins is not the same as playing against the pourous Denver defense or against the flat footed Okur. Pau spent half the games vs. SAS complaining to refs about pervieved non-calls. Physical defense really takes him out of his game.
On offense, If Kobe is on Allen and Radmonivich is on Pierce, that would be a dream come true for Pierce. Kobe will be running all over the court chasing Allen, which will be to the advantage of the Celtics. I'm not sure how those match-ups favor the Lakers. On defense, Pierce will surely be on Kobe.
Generally, the Celtics are quick enough on their rotations to neutralize an effective three-point attack. Like I said, Kobe will get his 20+ points, but that doesn't always lead to Lakers victories. The Celtics Defense has more than enough to shut down everyone else.
Walton is NOT solid. Are we watching the same games? Why do you think Kobe is yelling at him all the time? He gets lost on offense and defense regularly. Posey is tough on defense and offense. He will OWN Sasha.
