Before I get started, I had the Celtics tonight.....so don't even think about it!
 
So anyway, I was listening to ESPN Radio's "The Herd" with Collin Cowherd today and I hear him telling this story that was reported in Cleveland about how LeBron was recently at very popular Cleveland steakhouse where he and his boys recently ate and drank until almost 4 am. Yes, he had the the restaurant and all of its staff stay open for him well past closing time. By the time he left he racked up an $800 tab and it was almost 4am.....he left a $10 tip. What the fuck?

Him and Roy Williams of the Lions could be the cheapest fuckers ever! If it wasn't for us fans all these guys wouldnt make shit!!

I guess the thing that got me was the fact that these people stayed at work til 4am for this guy. Now at a pretty nice restaurant like that these days 20% ($160) is pretty much the rule, for a star or celebrity or professional athlete I would think at least 25% ($200) shouldn't be out of the question...BUT $10?????

What's the story with Roy Williams? I haven't heard...I actually met him last week at charity event in El Paso, seemed like a real nice guy.

I was talking to him about coming back home (played at UT and from Odessa) signing with my Cowboys after this season, the last year on his contract with the Lions.

I just googled this story...its all over the place and I'm sure it's true for all of you ppl defending this piece of shit.  If it wasn't for basketball Lebron would be the one serving the food, he should realize this and give a little back.  And I don't mean give a little back like the NBA has him do for the "NBA Cares" Advertisements...I mean genuinely give a little back.

I worked at a high end joint during college and this is not uncommon.

I heard and experienced serving athletes and most had no clue or care about tipping correctly.

Now there are exceptions, guys like Barkley but most of them are brutal tippers..even worse than the French..who are usually viewed as the worst around.
