last two months i'm a +.5u.
PIK: Angels 1.4/1u.
Will ride the streak. Santana is 5-0 vs. a 1-3 tomko (he also has a blown save, which doesn's show up in his overall record).
all santana's 6 starts have been quality, while tomko has pitched only 1 quality start in 5 games.
angels are 10-5 on the road for a .667 winning average, while kc is 5-7 at home.
antana has only given up 8 runs in 3 Qs this season, while tomko has given up 9 runs in two home games this season.
Sanatana did have problems with Kc in 07, with hittters cleaning up at a .400 ba clip, (one home/away only) but in 06 when santaa went 18-12 the kc team only hit .333ba in ikc and .250 in la 2 games only).
where santaa's batting oppenents ba. is currently .250. plus he doesn't walk anyone as his 0bp is unde .300 also. tomkeo let's 4out of 10 guys get on base this season. and tomko's carer reord shows a mid 5 era form for the last 10 years. and a pitcher that nobobdy wants because he loses a lot of games because he gives up too many runs.
it's true Santana had troubles in 07 and got demoted to trip AAA last year in july for a month. ((but his two previous season before that where stellar)) racking up over 35 wins in two seasons.
la times march 20, 2008, Sciosa (angels skipper) on putting santana 4th man in the rotation when he could have placed him 5th and santana would not have had to open up vs minny on the road, and instead gotten 2 home games first.
