1) I was at the game Saturday and watched the Wizards miss numerous wide open shots, particularly Jamison who could not by a wide open 20+ footer to save his life. And while Stevenson is a tool, he will not go 1-9 again tonight. For the Cavs, Lebron really did what he had to do to get the win on Saturday, and had assistance from just a few other sources (Z, Gibson, & West). I anticipate more help from some vets like Joe Smith (0 points), Wally world (8), Devin Brown (2), maybe even Andy Varejao (2)who will go better than 1-6.
2) Coach Eddie Jordan is a moron to come out and specifically say he is going to make sure the Wizards "foul Lebron harder" in game 2. This made Mike Brown notify the league of the potential "attempt to cause injury". Beyond all this gamesmanship BS there is something interesting, the refs will be very careful to keep things under control and will be calling more fouls. Expect more foul shots, thus more possessions with scoring with the clock not moving, and a higher total.
3) Finally, while I am rooting for the Cavs, I partially expect the Wizards to win tonight. If they are going to do so, the game MUST be higher scoring. I seen no way the game plays out in the 80s or low 90s and Washington winning on the road.
Final projected total: 198.
Good luck everyone!

This one is looking great for a few reasons.

These two teams combined to shoot 11-43 from the 3 point arc, or just 26%, in game 1. These #s are rediculous when you consider Gilbert went 4-5 from the 3 point line. This means everyone else was a joke, including Caron Butler, Jamison, & Stevenson combining for 2-17. They were not missing because of outstanding parameter defense (Larry Hughes, thanks for the memories).
Both teams averaged 36% for the regular season. Things settle down after a game 1 where too much hype was brought in. If they shoot their normal %s, that would increase last games score by 12 points alone up to 191 from 179.
Out to dinner, will be back to follow the action on my 10 unit ($500) wager.
