why? memphis played terrible defense, they didnt play the 3 ball well, left alot of people open, over helped when tony parker drove the ball into the lane, and were late on the rotations. also i saw alot of them over - helping on defense.
I can see memphis being alot more aggressive on defense with tony parker, trying to force turnovers where they get most of their offense.
also on offense i saw alot of walking the ball up the court which gives the old spurs time to set up the defense and get back up the court. what memphis needs to do is push the ball with mike conley ( he has speed ). also they were sticking the ball, which means they were not moving the ball at all most were isolation plays with z bo or gasol or dribble and shoot.
pretty much memphis for their first WCF game was just too overwhelmed they need to play calm memphis grind it out basketball.
remember at one point in the 3rd it was down to two points. and on one possession they could not hit two three pointers. then matt bonner makes a 3 on the other end to bring the lead back up.
