Hi can someone explain how spreads work in series games? For example see below. Bucks +1.5 if you take bucks you are betting for a game 7 to win correct? You can also buy points and make it 3.5... just that mean if they win 2 games out of the series you win?

Hi can someone explain how spreads work in series games? For example see below. Bucks +1.5 if you take bucks you are betting for a game 7 to win correct? You can also buy points and make it 3.5... just that mean if they win 2 games out of the series you win?
If it's a Series bet that's showing a spread, I would imagine it's a spread for the number of games in that series. So using the example you posted: with Miami as the fave, if they win 4-0 (and sweep the series) they will have covered the 1 1/2 game spread. Or, if it were to go to a 7th game, by having the Buck with +1 1/2, they would then win by the 'famous' half-point. That's my own opinion, especially considering those odds vs. series odds. I have yet to see anything like that....BOL.
